Sculpture Topsy Turvy Topsy Turvy-detail Over the River and Through the Woods Aeriala Around the Bend Raindrops Keep Falling Metok Looped Dogen's Dream Tibro Octyn Septurn Jaringle Square Roots Jiglette Prices on request My work takes its inspiration from the intricate calligraphic network of branches and roots of the trees surrounding my studio in the country, reassembled to make large-scale drawings and sculptures, resting on the floor as well as hanging from the ceiling, or weaving in and out of the walls. Some make reference to organic shapes in nature and others are abstract, intermingled with my painted and drawn line. By incorporating my own mark with natural elements, I wish to make incongruous, surprising juxtapositions as well as allusion to the concept of art as intervention in the natural world.
