Created from reversals of my ballpoint pen drawings, they are meant to resemble blue prints and pay homage to the great blues musician, Bix Beiderbecke, as well as the Bic company whose pens I use to make my ball point drawings. My pigment print "Blue Print" is a reversal of my large-scale drawing "One of a Kind", an elaborate matrix of lines that makes reference to a vast universe as well as to the notion of signature.
